Helping Young Readers Develop

This section concentrates on the different ways in which we can help and inspire young people with their reading. There are ideas for reading activities and for sharing and discussion, and suggestions for ways to open up conversations about reading.

This section also offers you a selection of scenarios to work through. Each scenario features a different library situation and links directly to one of the core skills outlined in the Core Skills List.
